SPRAY TAN ARTIST  

Your Day to Day  

Our Spray Tan Artists are the heart of our unparalleled client experience. Our entire team is cross trained to work reception and perform teeth whitening services, in addition to providing Portland's five star hush tan. That means you’ll also be expected to check clients in/out, schedule appointments and answer the phone.  We know every employer raves about their “family-like” atmosphere, but we really are a team and everyone is responsible for contributing to the overall client experience we are well known for.   We have an extensive training program so experience is not required, though customer service experience is a plus.  

Spray Tan Artist Responsibilities:  

• Perform professional spray tan services with a great attitude and friendly demeanor 
• Greet + check in/check out clients 
• Learn + maintain expert level knowledge of spray tanning, HUSH membership program and all HUSH retail products
• Learn + maintain expert level knowledge of our in-studio teeth whitening system
• Learn + become proficient in our online booking tool and point of sale system
• Perform side tasks including maintaining cleanliness of studio, tanning rooms and all common areas; laundry; restocking products, restroom upkeep, exterior pick up.
• Answer client questions surrounding the tanning process, formula, services offered and aftercare 
• Responding to client emails and text messages regarding appointments and services Spray Tan Artists must be licensed in esthetics in the state of Oregon.  

Requirements + Desired Traits for All Positions  

• Previous customer service experience desired, but not required
• Deliver the best client experience possible with a great attitude
• Adapt well to change Generally positive outlook and overall demeanor
• Willingness and ability to maturely communicate with teammates and leadership
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must! Correct grammar and punctuation when communicating with clients is essential 
• Dependable, flexible and team player 

What We Offer

Pay is commensurate with experience in a range of $14-$16 per hour plus any applicable tips and commissions depending on role. Average pay, including tips, ranges from $20-$40 per hour depending on shift and season.   

Full-time position receives PTO and is 40 hours per week March - October & 32 hours per week November - February with no reduction in base pay (salary)!
